It needed to be big enough to hold shoe's and a change of clothes, but be small enough to fit on the bus with a backpack. This was the PERFECT bag. It is the right size and comes in enough colors to keep the boy's happy. I will be purchasing another one for my youngest before the year is out even though he doesn't need it for 2 more years.
